ML&S Recordings for October 08

Local Seattle sketch comedian, multi-instrumentalist Becky Poole stopped by to lay down some Saw, accordian, and a capella vocals for a potential performance based play in the works. In addition to turning me on to the best cover band concept i have ever heard of Family of Giants; Saw and Theremin playing the hits you know and love...

Sorry Safari continue to work on their second album recorded at Magnets Large & Small. Sunday te 26th they came in to track "My Darling" a combination of ukulele, drums, acoustic/electric guitar, synth, and some smoothe baritone vocals.

My Bones and Organs continue to work towards their first EP/LP. Adding vocalist Jake Merriman to the ex-Nemesys Theory project to tracks recorded a couple months back.

Pop-Punk-Hardcore all-around good time band The Damage Done are set to mix their next release Recorded @ ML&S in the next couple weeks.

Common Courtesyhas tracked their third cut "Hellow Tomorrow" on the journey of The Guts' own Remy Guts' indi-pop-punk frankenstein project featuring Dean(hidden Number) Chris (Damage Done/ Smooth Sailing) and Conner (Damage Done/Road to Ruin)

Hidden Number has tracked the first of a series of to-be 7" releases of new material with 'Smoothe Groove' remix B-Sides of 'Burn Alive' favs to be released in the next year. The first release: '(we'll never be) Friendz4EvR'- the Hidden Number album version and on the B-Side a wonderfully strange remix by HN bassist Joe Stuhff. Look to get your copy by February 2009. It's time to purchase a phonograph player if you don't have one already. CD's we won't miss, but there still is nothing like the experience of throwing down some vinyl in your entertainment nook and holding stuff that we shall refer to henceforth as art. Yet for those who refuse to accept the fact that the there are some things more important than 'easy' we will meke it convienient to put these releases in your 'device' either via CD or MP3 download with purchase. Vinyl will never become obsolite. I will bet you a Pina Colada Slurpee. anyway... We at ML&S are incredibly excited to give you the goods; i.e. our new shit. soon.
